I’d recommend both books to get a well rounded grasp.

I think I have a fairly good grasp on my product knowledge, but have usually referred to myself as "not a salesman type". 

The second round was the same list, I just had a much better grasp on the values in the area.

Of course a lot of CPAs don't have a good grasp on this so let me know if you need a referral.

It is precisely because of mentoring programs that teach strategies and techniques to people who do not have any grasp of the three afore mentioned fundamentals that we have such a mess with “wholesaling” and “subject to” that governmental authorities are figuring ways to heavily regulate or outright ban these activities in the residential real estate field. 

Until you have a firm grasp of these 2 questions, everything else is irrelevant.

Just curious if anyone has any experience getting into real estate investing via becoming a home inspector and kind of grasping the field.

Because so far you're saying it's impossible and poppycock, but haven't actually refuted anything I've said specifically so I'm having trouble grasping what you actually disagree with.

During a showing you should have a general grasp on the mechanicals.
