A good friend of mine started a property maintenance company in Brooklyn, NY (super competitive market) and grew his database by showing up to development sites, following investors and developers on social media, introducing himself to local property owners, posting his day to day on Instagram, and following up with his database regularly.I also agree with everything @David Peschio and @Drew Sygit suggested here!

Blank profiles on a colleague request is like someone texting you "Hey" and nothing elseBP has made it easy for new members to update their profiles.If someone is new to BiggerPockets BUT has a presence on LinkedIn, Youtube, other social media profiles, website, etc, they can add their links and we can check those platforms to see what they're about.Agreed on filling out the bare minimum - what do you do, what are you looking to do, where are you located, etc.Hopefully new folks find this and implement!
