I personally when wearing my broker hat used to give my new owners a complete amortization printout and told them to draw a nice red line through each payment as they made it and then told them whenever things were good write a separate check market to be applied to principle on loan # (for the principal to be paid on the next payment) and draw a red line through that one.

to send orgininal docs to a lawyer not a party of the contract I would never do.. no problem sending copies of course.. so they can review red line and send back with their instructions but this is how fraud happens.I had lunch last week with Pat Stone and he said the east coast has far more claims than the west coast because of the smaller mom pop attorney relationships compared to someone walking into your multi jurisdictional or location for real title escrow company..

I own there, and what I usually do is take the 101 to Malden Center, but I also have the option of taking the 96/95 to the Red Line.

Combined that with segregation, red lining, and lower home ownership (read above average # of renters compared to similar sized cities) among the majority demographic will leave an outsider investor who doesn't know Memphis searching for cash flow gold and losing the equity battle.

And you're going to very clearly imply that they should be grateful about it, because after all, increasing these people's "financial literacy" and their "economic stability" is a good thing.This is going to happen in Georgia, a state where your great-grandfather would have had the legal right to buy their great-grandmother and do whatever he wanted to her, your grandfather might very probably have been able to get away with murdering their grandfather with a knife or a rope as long as he had some good friends with him and a sheet over his head, and your father would have had a chance to live in a neighborhood which allowed him to borrow money to buy a house while their father lived in a neighborhood where a mortgage could be refused due to an arbitrary red line on a map.I do not believe this is going to go over well.

We had a bank here in Memphis come out and they said they don't invest in that location after having the address for 3 weeks and ran his credit. local commercial banks have every right to RED Line..
