There is a class feature in QuickBooks that will keep track of everything for you and give you your bottom line per property and per LLC.Click on Class (Make sure you turn on the Class Feature in QuickBooks Preference Section Accounting Section) and...type in your Name as a header.Example : David Miracle (Header) 1234 Angel Drive (listed as a sub-class of David Miracle) 5678 Goodwill Circle (Listed as a sub-class of David Miracle) You would do the same thing with all the LLC's.

(Which is just another word for "indenting".As I said before, QuickBooks does everything in outline form.You have classes and a sub class:You have customres and jobs Every time you indent in QuickBooks it is called either a subaccount or a job or a sub class.In your Chart of Accounts you will have the Header (Category) and sub Accounts underneath the Header or (Category) Headers and indenting.In the Class feature which keeps track of your individual properties, you list the property as a class, and then (if it's apartment building) you would list the units inside the apartment building as a sub class, (indenting) as the screen shot shows in my other post.

According to the layout, without actually seeing the roof line, I would assume that the north and south walls of the home are load bearing and if you are going to install a door on the north side you would need to build a header over the door.
