After spending ~30 hours stuffing mailers, data collection, and on the phone, even if I were to net $10,000 on a wholesale deal, if I put $5000 into a marketing campaign, it just doesn't seem like a good use of time. 50 hours of grinding for $5000 taxable profit, even $10,000 taxable profit.

The host had their personal belongings in the closets, cabinets were stuffed with mismatched and chipped dishes and pots and pans, spice jars and inside cabinets were filthy, no tin foil, plastic wrap, washer/dryer soap.

I often see people talk to people like they are the Spawn of Satan if they say they are making a "cash offer" and don't have the actual money in a bank account, liquidatable stock account, or stuffed in a mattress as they don't trust them there banks!

This was somewhat of a new concept to me because I have always been the type to keep what I am doing to myself, mostly just because I assume most people really don't care...Well, I decided to follow Brandon's model and somehow ended up in a conversation with one of my tenants (with my head stuffed under a sink) about wanting to buy poorly managed buildings in the area and begin to turn the neighborhood around (its a C cluster in a B area).
