I saw a 10 acre boarded up ranch for sale directly across the street from the main entrance, commercial zoned they were for sale by owner and only asking 300k it was an estate sale.

I wonder how hard it would be to request a change into a Multi Family, since I also have an renovated 3rd floor with a separate entrance.  

It has a separate entrance and we rent out the 2/1 house.

Aside from the retirement fund goals, we are making some home improvements, including adding an in-law suite with a private entrance that we rent our either long term or airBnB.

Now, I'd be lying if I said that the entrance into an Italian investment property wasn't passion-driven - it certainly is.

I highly recommend having a camera at all entrances.

To mitigate these risks, I recommend the following key management system we have evolved overtime:1st - Secure the entrance of your property: This should be the first line of defense against unauthorized access.2nd -Utilize a digital lock code: This can be installed in a closet if possible, and will provide an additional layer of security.3rd- Install a key-coded key box in the closet: Choose a key box that is secure and not easily accessible, such as one that is bolted to the studs and not installed in drywall.4th- Utilize a key ring with a tracker: Keys can be labeled with coded labels, and a tracker such as an Apple Tag or Tile key chain can be attached to the key ring to help prevent loss.5th - Label individual keys with codes: This will help prevent unauthorized access in the event of theft or a key breach.

By the way that's kinda wierd unless you have a legit ADU with separate entrance, STS walls etc.I just sold my 500.sqft condo in San Diego.
