Yeah, it's that big a leap in learning capability. ai is not linear, I think that's the source of flawed or limited thinking in ai's potential. ai is exponentially compounding in it's learning and comprehension.

Also, being disinterested in RE shouldn't be viewed as a problem, or character flaw (if it is, you'll start seeing a lot of people as pretty flawed--which isn't an enjoyable way to go through life).
