Were the people who predicted the real estate recession making bold assumptions when they extrapolated from mortgage data and security instruments that housing was profoundly unprofitable and unsustainable?

; and mental fitness -again what ever way you challenge it, meditation,music,painting ,learning etc. 

I was already a business owner, but I wanted more freedom to spend time with my family and on passion projects (like my blog, http://www.declaringfreedom.com), traveling, triathlons, music, etc. ... so, about 6 years ago, I started planning with my wife for an exit from my business and "rewirement" to a less-stressful life.

I have always believed that either you can join the world outside and sing to their tune or you can start your own band and make your own music.

Job growth has been in minimum wage industries, and the middle class is being decimated, but that doesn't mean the music is stopping anytime soon.

It's hard to really pick a side bc without rent control in SF, it would be musical chairs of housing amongst renters bc the landlords would be constantly increasing rents to the point that it would force everyone out.  

My heart is in climbing, surfing, and music.

There WILL be civil unrest when the music stops playing --  one of the reasons I feel safer in the country.

In the past month there has been multiple instances of being woken up to loud music at 4 am and  guests over at all times of the night.
