If you're having the roofers come in after you do the tearoff, make sure the dumpster is there for them as well... they'll have cut pieces of new shingles and similar stuff to get rid of.I have also seen a couple of dumpster companies that offer a lower rate if all you're putting in it is shingles, no general trash - I suspect they are hauling it to either a recycling plant or a construction and demolition landfill, which is cheaper for them than a general-purpose landfill.

If you have been in RE and are still in it a decade later and making a profit then you have won.if you get into the business and flame out in 24 months then obviously it did not work.. what makes the difference.The differences are where you are in the RE cycle.. some markets were or are much better for letting the newbie get into the game in the first place..

Some localities will require that glass that isn't above a certain height above the floor will have to be tempered (also true for windows in a bathroom).

Giving your good folks a little recognition goes a long way.I would suggest your friend ID a way he can help his LL simply (like trash mgt- pull out boxes that absolutely fill dumpsters to be recycled, parking lot pick-up, etc) in exchange for a discount.

The longest run is 27' from a sliding glass door in the bedroom, down the hall, past one closet to where you enter the master bedroom.3) I am not sure what kind of molding to use where the planking meets the vinyl slider base frame.

Even before doing that it could be beneficial to get a contractor out there to quote the job as you'll have his measurements for validation and he might point out things you might have missed (where tempered glass is needed, where jamb extension might be needed, potential one-off issues...etc).
