I flew out to Milwaukee last year and it was ok, but that nagging voice keeps telling me not to only chase cashflow and invest in areas that have a brighter economic future, lower taxes that attract businesses, and landlord friendly tenant laws.

I would contend that the future is brighter in AZ vs.

Or conversely, get some very strong leadership and push this city into a brighter future.

Also there are apps that have levels, tape measures, a flashlight, that work in a pinch.

I would especially use some color in the kitchen that contrasts with the white cabinets, and something upstairs that is warmer and brighter.
