Nowadays it is all done online- the contract is in the cloud, you get an e-mail when you need to sign something, you sign online (electronic signature) and everything is transferred electronically and instantly.

I expect that this online service would likely fall outside of those lenders' approved lists, at least for now.Also, this approach would produce a different physical end product than the traditional signature, stamp, and ID checking process.  

@Austin Wood some of the classes systems available readily provide contracts including electronic signatures.

The signature was removed and that line is now in very fancy calligraphy text to display the word 'Persistence' to signify that persistence pays off for $28,323.66 and is hanging above my work space.
