AirBNB moving their headquarters from some uppity place with "killer happy hours" to community that needs good jobs, tax revenue etc. that is getting nonstop lip service would give much needed credibility in my eyes.

When you are telling them you are putting yourself ahead of them [maybe unconsciously] and they feel threatened and jealous and they are coming from a place of fear and thus say things disparaging or negative or stupid.If you were telling someone that had 100 units or 1000 units you would craft that message differently and their response would be different, probably more positive.Unless you really need their input, lips quiet, money talks.

Also, all those people who say they "plan on" leaving are most likely just paying lip service to leaving, almost like how everyone you meet says they want to invest in real estate or flip houses, because it's sounds so cool.

Ok...I'll be THAT guy (after electing to bite my lip on page 1 yesterday) Dude comes on here and posts a bunch of pics, declare he is "retired" at 21 years old (lol) because he might earn $36,000 a year on a property, offers ZERO details of his "deal" , no detail of how it's funded, value add, cap rate, COC return, occupancy, etc and people fall over themselves to congratulate him?

None of the very small handful of students I have spoken with that are currently partnering with Ryan and Tyler on deals are happy with them and feel like Ryan and Tyler only have their own best interest at heart and don’t really care about their student’s success beyond lip-service.
