Looking to multiple family dwellings now!  

Can you add a suite or build an accessory dwelling? 

You put 50k in renos you pretty much have a livable dwelling, could be attractive in the covid world

I worked with an insurance agent to get home insurance that allows STR- I think it's called a Dwelling something- but double and triple check because the first one didn't allow STR and no one was paying attention.

I'm seeking to maximize my current home equity, by reinvesting in 1 or 2 multi-dwelling properties (duplexes).

If possible, build a dwelling rather than just storage, even if it's just a studio. 

Perhaps purchase a property with an additional dwelling unit.  

And what the flipper's track record looks like.Random idea - it may be worth checking your insurance (maybe look at your current dwelling policy if you have such) to see if it has any exclusions for unpermitted work.  

This means that in almost any residential lot you can have the main dwelling as well as a basement suite, garden suite, or a garage suite for a total one main residents and two secondary suites.
