Hey Ethan,I'm not sure what @Jason Wray is talking about - Houston was NOT built out with a lot of multi-family properties. 

I actually already have one property that I’m renting out, and my family and I are living in another home right now.

My portfolio is approximately 1,300 units, made up primarily of single family rental portfolios with some multifamily properties, spread across several states.I’m spending more time in Tucson as of late, and I am starting to expand my operation into this area, thus I would like to meet established investors, lenders, agents, and anyone involved in rental housing or acquisitions.

I do think Multifamily certainly has advantages over single family, but single family has advantages as well.

We recommend 20% of annual gross rent for a typical, average condition, single-family.

We have no friends or family to borrow another down-payment from.
