Some people don't value police either, but when someone is breaking into their house, guess who they are calling 1st.....Not sure why you think the analogy is no correct.  

As a former police officer I can answer that with a fairly confident “no.”

While in other states, the eviction law has the police come to the house, and physically remove the person in a week.

He can call for a police escort to go back and pick up his belongings.Change the locks.
