I am also a senior and thought more about my mortality than theirs but that’s life.

It just seems like people are in a rush to get everywhere, so stressed, and not into the same way of life that I am, the weather is humid, and the cost of living is high.I have always taken the safe route in life, rarely taking chances and also foregoing experiences/vacations until last year.Ever since I was a child, I felt an attraction to the West, specifically Colorado.

Making this decision cut basically everyone out of my life.

I've read "How to Invest in Real Estate", am starting "Set For Life", and have a couple other BP books on hold at my library already.

General advice for the time being (as well as life in general): don't buy a property that you can't pay for in worst-case scenarios.

I like to imagine my real estate life when I retire from wage work in 10-15 years.

I personally keep all students in a house/unit on one lease to make my life easier as well as having peep pressure to make sure everyone is paying their rent.
