Even if I did, my expenses right now are pretty low and I am confident that I could use my skills to pay some of the property expenses myself if I had a high vacancy for some reason.I just recently moved to Milwaukee, WI to live near my mentor.

Not enough detail in your list about your situation, but I'll tell you how we do it:My typical occupancy is about 65% as we schedule a night in-between guests in order to allow for cleaning times.Property mgmt is probably a good idea unless you have "boots on the ground" in the area and are really skilled in marketing VRBO/Airbnb.
