They likely are not going to cooperate with a loan for teh rebuild, so make sure you have cash, and/or an entity that will hold a second.Every time that I am aware of a government agency condemning a property and tearing it down, they charge that cost, plus their time and effort bidding and overseeing the action, back to the property owner.

@Joshua Adlam I currently manage 2 Apartment buildings in Alberta Canada and I am looking to have the capacity to be able to take on more buildings and hire employees ect, I am looking into registering the management I do into a business with the government and I am wondering if registering as an LLC is best?

Its happened in teh past, and I would be extremely careful about shopping on "lowest price" (ever wonder why the government is so screwed up - lowest bid, RFP's, poorest quality...).there are a lot of folks that know about one of the rent payment companies recommended above.
