If you sold and rebought the identical condo in the same building your cost basis would be the new higher cost, so you’ve captured all the gains tax free.

From what I understand, the reopening proposals provided by the counties were all identical.

They recently had to evict a person using a fake identity that vetted out in every way.  

If you do inherit, get the leases earlier and confirm their identity and payment before closing.
