@Shannon Peace    Although true in many places, the IRS is cracking down quite a bit lately and they find ways to catch it. 

This is my long term retirement plan and the peace of mind provided by the faster equity pay down is preferable to leveraging myself into oblivion for the next 30 years.

Find these professionals... ask your questions... get informed... and then invest with sound peace of mind.

Detroit has a bad element, but the majority are good, law-abiding people who want to live in peace and raise a family, just like anywhere else.

You will most probably need to have a Phase I Environmental Assessment performed {unless the owner has one that is recent, s/he is willing to share} both as a lender requirement and for your own peace of mind.

It's advisable to complete these repairs before buying the modular home for peace of mind and potential negotiation leverage with the seller.

And you need a housekeeper in town, of course, but s/he will provide you with peace of mind.
