Don't pinch pennies on a roof, water damage can cause major problems and that gets expensive, damage over time to framing is generally not covered by your insurance.As to warranties, read the manufacture's warranty and then let me know if you will ever be able to make a claim under those conditions, material defects, hard for me to prove that.

Does anyone have any experience with manufactured housing?

The inspection report said that there was a dishwasher where there clearly wasn't, the water heater was over 20 years old (although he had pictures in the report of the sticker on the water heater showing it was manufactured in 2006).

Just follow the instructions on the right.Try a few adjacent squares until you find a catchy address you like.

It has people especially worried in my market (metro Detroit) where auto manufacturers will feel the hit extremely hard compared to other markets. 

Name a responsible party and make sure they have access to instructions, documents, bank accounts and keys. 

Best bet is to have a manufacturer purpose build one for you from raw steel members.
