The home inspection contingency is also the most common point at which contracts fall apart.Since the 2020 post-COVID market shift, I have noticed that more of my contracts are being accepted with home inspection terms.

My understanding.

My STR investor clients are seeing improved numbers over last year, and the new short-term rentals just going online are having outsized success compared to clients who went live with their Airbnbs last year. 

On my 2014 taxes form 8824, I reported: line 17 520k FMV of property received, line 25 cost basis of property received of 450k and gain (line 24) of 100k.

I have not yet purchased my tickets but plan on being there maybe with my 22 year old son who is getting into RE.I really enjoyed the last one in Cancun.
