@Chris CampbellThey are owed nothing by the new buyer.....their lien got wiped out by the foreclosure of the superior lien, assuming the the junior lien was properly named/served.....this is for mtgs, judgments etc.

Along the same line as @Chris Mason is proceeding, if there is equity there is no good business reason for a first lien holder to negotiate here.
