Hi Randy,You will need to get a few quotes from local companies.How extensive is like how blue is the sky...there is no way to define it.The old system will need to be demo-ed and removed from the premises, and etc....You might want to look into a couple of min-split systems.

Be prepared to drive if necessary, you'll also be spending many nights a week /mo at meetings.I agree that there's a lot of flipping coaches wanting ten thousand bucks, but I also have taken many education's that cost 500 to a thousand or so and they're all well worth it.

As a white kid from the suburbs, I realize that I will be in very unfamiliar turf as I begin my career as a landlord.So, other than buying a gun that I carry at all times, never going to the properties at night, and screening tenants beforehand to make sure they don't have serious criminal records, what else can I do to ensure that I stay safe while managing these types of properties in bad neighborhoods?

@Robert KirkleyI don’t know what your full time job is, but if you can deliver pizzas nights and weekends it puts your vehicle to use, it’s great extra money, and you get to know the different neighborhoods in town really quickly.
