Online it says it may take 6 months to establish a FICO score I'd hope I could cut that in half at least.

You can get a verification letter from your CPA, financial advisor, or even online with a company like Verify Investor.

There are economic data out but in general small business are going down badly and online retailer are going to raise up together with health care.

From what I am finding online, it is looking like it will cost anywhere from 2k to 5k to transport a mobile home if it is coming from near by. 

I keep hearing about networking, but am not able to do that being stationed elsewhere. are there places I can start talking to investors, agents, and Property managers online?

I've scouted places both physically and online in Milwaukee - single-family homes, South Side Chicago (Woodlawn area) - condos, and in NW Indiana (Hammond & Whiting) - multifamily and single-family homes. 

Now we will be able to request all permits online without physically going to L&I.
