For some, that comes whIle reading a book (Ie Rich Dad, Poor Dad).

If you are planning to DIY your books, at least have a professional that understand RE industry to help you set up your books and explain the process for you, then work from there.

I've read all of the Robert Kiosaki books, I've read lots of forums about rental properties.

Any particular books or podcasts you would recommend?

Can anyone recommend a good book to read up on general wealth generation through rental properties, how to evaluate deals, how to finance deals, and other intro topics?

I was wondering what books or knowledge sources can assist me in learning more about real estate.

I've been a member  of biggerpockets for about 5 years and have studied full time learning alot there, reading books, because I had a few years to do that 7 days a week because of the medical problems I had.That being said let me inform you that wholesaling is harder than it looks, it has much competition, and you have to learn how to tell lies or keep things to yourself so the Owner does not know what you are really doing. 

They probably called 5 termite guys and this was the soonest they could book it.

I am watchings tons of videos, pod casts, audio books etc.
