I've been interested in Real Estate investing for a LONG time, since reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad back when I first got married in the early 2000's.

I was after all the “rich” California investor who he could profit on with top dollar construction costs, then take his percentage on the sale.

A dear friend passed along “Rich Dad Poor Dad” as well as a BiggerPockets REI book, and I feel like I’ve been bitten by a bug- I am now turning my down time into education time, absorbing as much as I can- books, podcasts, YouTube videos...

I am attempting to purchase my first property in the San Fernando valley in Los Angeles and I after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and listening to countless episodes on here I am interested in purchasing a cash flowing property.
