In the big picture, blame lies not just with one president who was the champion of the deregulation (president bush), but with the society that thought it could get something for nothing...such people elected a man who would try to get them what they wanted.

Only thing I would advise is be careful purchasing a property and allowing pst possession.Sometimes they can have time to rethink their decision and decide they no longer want to move.If you do want to buy it soon though, I would encourage you to impose some type of holdback of the money that they won't get until they are officially moved out.

I believe you can work something out with your cousins/siblings now, but i would highly encourage you to get an attorney involve and get it property documented and recorded.
