Hi,A while back, I met a person who recommended an online course on how to be successful with Section 8 investing.

We're in the early stages of adding a 16 unit apartment building to our portfolio & wondering if it is time to look into some type of software to allow online payments, tenants to request maintenance, access documents, etc.Any suggestions on software to look into?

Credit card transactions still have to be entered manually.We actually use QuickBooks Online (QBO) for our accounting since it gives us more flexibility and reporting options.I’d also love to see an in-app calling feature (right now it’s text only).More flexibility to create custom CRM statuses would be nice too.I haven’t tried many other platforms yet, but for now AppFolio covers most of what we need pretty well.

Several times a year I am am sending out a text message to all tenants (freeze warnings, inspection reminder, etc) I am looking for an online platform that has a good app as well as a website that I can use to do those tasks.

I have looked around online and found NREIG (National Real Estate Insurance Group).

@Kody Smith plenty of good PM software out there but for bookkeeping we recommend QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I still shop in person or online to get the right pieces.

Are the PM's actually marketing it well - posted on all major online platforms, & in person - they should hopefully be giving you feedback from showings & online interactions.
