Hi Biggerpockets, I've been a landlord for a few months now and I've been dealing with a tenant who reaches out constantly asking for this and that and I've complied with things that make sense but she is also very demanding and it makes conversations difficult to manage.

without that, though, there are still options, like using DSCR loans, and also knowing the rent is going to increase when you move out.and the goal here is not any "rule" but: building equity. 

I don't know much about build to sell, so I'm not the right person to advise you on that.The market IS very difficult for buying rentals right now, period, so kudos to you for recognizing that.

I build but no rental product lately.

I'm also building a house with Delta.

We did not build the duplex ourselves, it was a spec build in process when we purchased. 

Being in DFW, I have seen very difficult to find that out.

They build communities of side by side duplexes.
