Hamidou, this is a really common situation with MTRs, and honestly, a lot of people oversimplify it with that “you don’t need to screen nurses” advice.Yes, the nurse is usually solid — they’re background-checked by the hospital, the staffing agency, and sometimes even the vendor management system.

(I know it's a particular tenant because the other tenant's dog is too small to leave this mess and because the other tenant has complained about this problem.)Wouldn't want to evict for this, but I am committed to my yard being useable by all tenants at all times, so I need to crack down and know what the process is for fully enforcing this rule, especially given how tenant-friendly Chicago is.Just curious what people think based on their experience:1.

@Nick Copland I list my properties on Furnished Finder and utilize their tenant screening tool for screening applicants, which I find to be very straightforward.

Make your best effort to screen tenants on the front end, while still realizing that good screening doesn't mean that a bad tenant won't slip through the cracks every now and then.

We do self-guided tours and send our screening criteria upfront so prospects can prescreen themselves before applying.
