Hi everyone — I’m a dentist in Utah and could use some high-level guidance from people with more experience in commercial real estate than me (which is probably everyone on this forum).I am purchasing a dental practice, and the current dentist also owns the dental/medical office condo where the practice is located of about 2,500 sq ft with some additional storage space in the basement.

@Janel York You could hire an attorney to create your LLC and be your “registered agent” which would be the information shown on the public records, the address for your LLC would be the attorney’s office.

Even if you create a non-CA LLC, if you are managing the business from California, you may be deemed to be "doing business" in California and therefore maybe subject to CA taxes.

Credit card transactions still have to be entered manually.We actually use QuickBooks Online (QBO) for our accounting since it gives us more flexibility and reporting options.I’d also love to see an in-app calling feature (right now it’s text only).More flexibility to create custom CRM statuses would be nice too.I haven’t tried many other platforms yet, but for now AppFolio covers most of what we need pretty well.
