Sealing the basement floor might help   (something that soaks into concrete then hardens,   as oppposed to a paint which sits on surface and flakes off)  then clean the carpets,  there may have been dirty spots providing nutrients to the mold.Add a basement ventilation fan that runs on a timer or continously to keep humidity down.   

Then the government fattens our kids up with junk food, corrupts their minds with junk TV.

I would be in favor of a voting system directly correlated to the amount of taxes one pays.Example --- If you are a Section 8 / Food Stamp freeloader who pays $0 in taxes, you get zero votes.

They break in your tent and start eating your food - do you give them more food and let them lounge around or kick them out?

You want to choose a location that is less densely populated.

Some food for thought questions that went through my mind as soon as I read your post:[1]   Are there other C, C+ homes and apartment complexes in the very near area?       

From what I heard, they adjusted to provide a wider catchment for rural areas which could skew a more dense area.

Food assistance ,SNAP, will not be paid on 10/1.  

Many renters will be in a similar situation at the moment, including those who may have to choose between food and rent due to SNAP benefits being frozen.
