@M Edouard I have recently updated a few rooms by adding LED lights and here is what we did and I am very pleased with the results.For a large bonus room and office with vaulted ceilings we used 4, 6" LEDs with adjustable brightness and set to 3000k.

We did a very light flip (Paint, cleaning, yard maintenance, etc) for less than 10k total invested.

I say them as a warning to others reading along so they don't make your same mistakes.
