What's the reason it's 'non-warrantable', any of these?

I am buying a non warrantable condo in TX.

The temps you mention do not warrant AC and the tenant is probably willing to put up with some temporary discomfort for a discount.

The only inconvenience is the occasional time a modem would need a power cycle, which wasn't often enough to warrant any changes. 

You will want to find out if it is warrantable and if there are any large assessments coming up that you would be responsible for. 

And have little control in forcing seller to sell if needed.. compared if you were direct to the seller. also having to hire a lawyer for this not really enough money to warrant that if there is more than a sabour rattling letter. 

A lot of agents think that homes that need work only warrant a few cell phone pictures and a line saying "As Is" . . . 

Most attorney's would not have a clue on what would make a condo non-warrantable (which means the property is not eleigible for conventional financing or not) This is very importnant because if you buy a property that is not easily financed then your buyer market is smaller which makes the property not worth as much.
