I’d recommend asking about the property's overall condition, especially the roof, plumbing, and electrical those can be big-ticket repairs if something’s off.

Frankly any area can be a great STR area if you buy the property great and there is a big draw.You can't go wrong with a lake front, beach front (or near), major skiing or high mountain getaways.
