That's right--high-appreciation markets are not the ones to invest in if you want your net worth to grow passively.

but, with that said, i don't know that the ONLY other option with cash is just pay down your mortgage. 

Definitely still worth it.

Any advice on lenders to look at, other ways to get the cash out, or other options to consider is welcomed.
