Hi guys, any recommendations for funding for my first rental property? Don’t want to use personal credit.

Thanks!

Hey Ashley! What property type are you looking at? If yo're not wanting to use your own credit, you can reach out to property owners to see if they'd have interest in owner financing - basically they are the lender. This strategy is more flexible, as you can utilize whatever terms work for each side. The key is finding that owner!

You can also find a mentor, who's already active in Real Estate Investing and see if he/she is open to potentially partnering to purchase a property with you. I used a form of this strategy, though I did still utilize a loan through the FHA, which obviously involved my credit.

Hopefully this was somewhat helpful, and if you have anymore questions, feel free to message me!
