Looking for weekend work in Real Estate

Hans Schubert
Posted

Hey BP Fam - I work full time in cybersecurity but I starting investing in real estate less than 2 years ago. I love it and I want to do it full time but as I save and continue to take a very strong salary from my W2, I was thinking of trying to find some Part Time work on the weekends for three main purposes 1) Make friends in a city I'm new to 2) learn more about the different ways to build wealth in real estate and 3) network with people who invest in real estate, working in various capacities (wholesalers, general contractors/fix+flippers, Vacation rental owners/managers, developers, lenders, etc)

I'm not too picky when it comes to compensation provided I get the kind of exposure to deals, strategies, insights that I'm looking for.

Can anyone think of any roles/positions that would meet this criteria? Just to summarize

- Weekend Only (maybe evenings during the week a bit, but Part time overall)

- Exposure to real estate investments/transactions/management

- Opportunity to meet new people / be social

- (Ideally) in the Phoenix metro area

In case it's important - I have a Bachelors Degree from a well recognized private institution (non-business related), have worked in professional capacities for major start ups/small businesses for over 12 years

Try networking with other investors and see if you can pick up a job or mentor with someone. Go to NETWORK at the top of your screen and you can search for other investors and investment groups in your area. You can also check meetup.com or search facebook for real estate investment groups, clubs, or meetings in your area.
