Book Recommendations for a Fetal-Stage Investor?
Hi all,
I’ve just finished reading BP’s How to Invest in Real Estate, and I’m curious for more suggestions:
If you had only 2 or 3 books to recommend as an “cheaper than college” accelerated course in real estate investment, what would they be?
Thanks so much!
Mason

Start with BiggerPockets Ultimate Beginners Guide (free). It will familiarize you with the basic terminology and benefits. Then you can read a more in-depth book like The Unofficial Guide to Real Estate Investing by Spencer Strauss.
Most books tell you how to buy, but very few teach you how to manage. I highly recommend "Every Landlord's Legal Guide" by NOLO. Written by attorney investors, it's full of practical advice pertaining to management of investment property, has sample forms that can be edited, and - most importantly - they tell you what your primary state laws are and where you can read them. It's updated every year and is the best $40 you'll spend as a Landlord.
