I am a newbie and hope to invest out of state. I’m in Los Angeles and it’s way too expensive to invest in California. Does anyone know of a reputable turnkey option? I’m interested in properties under $60k.
Thanks

Welcome to the site Ginger. There are several turnkey providers here on BP. I suggest checking out the marketplace forum. We all advertise there regularly. Turnkey is a widely discussed topic here on BP so it won't take long for you to get up to speed on who the bigger players in the space are.

Welcome and good luck...
My experience with TK was not the best and I would always recommend staying away from it unless you absolutely have too.
My thought is with the internet and the ability to network and check people's backgrounds online you can set up and find your own team. The foundation to that would be a realtor...this person has contacts, can put you in touch with lenders, handymen, contractors and anyone else you would need.
The nice part is that they will want to treat you right so that you continue to invest and buy with them.
The TK companies are set up exactly for people like you though...live in CA, can't invest there but want to invest somewhere. Some cut corners and I can guarantee you that you will be buying a property with ZERO equity left in it.
The only company I dealt with was Bridge Equity out of Kansas City and I would definitely not use them.
Feel free to send me a message if you have any more questions...

@Ginger Marcos The first thing I would say to you is that buying turnkey at that price point - under $60k will almost certainly lead you down a rabbit hole of trouble. Homes at that price point in today's markets are in neighborhoods that will draw difficult tenants. They are also hard to finance. Better you should target homes that are at least $80k or more, depending on the market. One thing to look for is homes that are at fairly close to the median price of the market (the MSA, not the neighborhood).
