Apartment locator or residential sales.

Hey,

I just recently moved to Austin, TX and currently attending Champions School of Real Estate to obtain my license. I have 2 classes left before I can test. Right now I’m trying to decided if I want to work as a property locator or in residential sales. I’m leaning more towards an apartment locator, mainly because of the current housing market in Austin, there are not many properties available. I know Austin is continuing to grow, so I figured there would be more people looking for apartments, than houses. If any experience realtors can assist me, by given me their opinion on what could possibly be the best choice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Melvin

@Melvin Mickens they are two completely different career paths. Leasing is difficult here right now too. One sale can be worth 10-20 leases or more, personally I would rather work really hard to sell a few properties if I was just getting started.
