@Tony Savage we're certainly stuck in the mud here in Austin and have been fighting it for 3 years. Personally I think we have so much inventory that it will take a while to work through it even when rates come down to something that's acceptable to buyers.

We sell a lot of real estate in the Austin, TX and Minneapolis - Saint Paul, MN areas and we now have the most listings we've ever had up.

I know interest rates are high but they're not higher than they have been in the last few years and we're starting to see the coveted 1% deals pop up again and people don't seem to be interested. With DSCR rates under 7% a lot of these deals make sense too and I'm just confused why people aren't jumping on them!

We're busy buying Mobile Home Parks and if I was in the residential investment space right now I like to assume I would be buying but I'm really curious as to what's stopping people?

Everyone said they were waiting for prices to come down before they bought. They're DOWN a lot. What's keeping you on the sidelines?

@Joe Castro we can finance them and there are quite a few lenders who can actually, you just need to know who to talk to!

The go-to Austin Real Estate Investment meetup with a dedicated event space @ Draught House Pub & Brewery.

This just a casual get together to talk real estate the 2nd Thursday of each month! We’ll have fun and eat delicious food.

There will be house hackers, BRRRR investors, buy and hold, flippers and commercial real estate investors at this meetup! Everyone is welcome and make sure to bring your questions about real estate investing or about the current real estate market

**Please come with the intention to connect and meet other like-minded individuals rather than pass out as many business cards as possible. Want to keep this an as pitch-free environment as possible**

Send me any mobile home parks you find, we'd buy in Oklahoma and own in Texas and Kentucky already

I think you'll have trouble finding a broker that wants to do this work!

@Farooq Khan your lowest down payment way is going to be the VA loan but depending on your circumstances you could invest in TX and not live in it. I'd love to chat about it as I can probably help you figure out the next best steps
