Does self storage management require a license?

Do states require a real estate license or some type of certification before an individual can manage self storage facilities? I'm usually good at finding answers on my own but this one has me stumped.

I am not aware of any license requirements beyond standard business licenses. You are not dealing with fiar housing or tenancy laws since storage is a retail business and not housing or commercial rental property.
