Syndicators, How well do you compensate capital raisers?

I'm curious to find out how the syndicators on Bigger Pockets are compensating the capital raisers in their syndications.  As I continue to build my business, I want to make sure that someone who is able to bring significant capital to help get a deal across the finish line are compensated well for their efforts.  I'm currently setting aside 40-50% of the GP to compensate the capital raisers.  Would love to hear feedback from experienced syndicators on this subject.

Let's get our language right. We don't "pay" anything. We can't. As per the SEC, unless you are a licensed broker-dealer you cannot be paid a commission. You may become a partner, which involves some pro-rata fees and equity.
