Was recently scammed and need some advice
Hi Friends,
Have been working on a new project for the past few months and after switching teams on the renovations I finally had to fire everyone. As a quick example of how horrible these people were to work with, they put down flooring before actually getting the framing complete, ruining some for flooring and even started painting the house before finishing all the drywall. It's been one of the most stressful things I've been through as I'm now running low on time and money, but still need to push the project over the goal line. Reaching out to see if 1) anyone else has been through this 2) if you have any recommendations of reputable and certified contractors in the STL area.
Thanks friends

I'm not in your area so can't help with recommendations, but questions:
1) Are they in violation of your contract? 2) Were they licensed by the State? 3) If so, have you called the State License Board to file a complaint? 4) Did you pay them in advance for any stages of the project? 5) Have you considered suing them?
