Foreclosure.com, hud, rent before you buy etc.

Can anyone she'd some light as to whether these sites that have monthly fees are worth it?  I am a newbie in northern Michigan wanting to start purchasing a few rentals and a flip or 2 in the next few months. Any insight will be greatly b appreciated.

For what it's worth ...

I just "found" foreclosure.com today (via BP). I didn't sign up with them, but I went and visited five local foreclosure properties I found in the list. They give everything but the house number. I'm lucky the streets referenced are short and the properties were easy to find (postings on the door, etc.).

@Joshua Dorkin: It'd be really great if BP could arrange to have foreclosure.com included in the BP-Pro subscription...
