Partnering With Family

Kyle Kline
Posted

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody had any experience (good or bad) investing with family members. I am specifically thinking in terms of a partnership and/or private money lending situation, but am interested to hear any experience whatsoever! Thanks in advance.

I warn against it for most people. If something goes wrong, you will ruin the relationship right along with the investment.

If you do partner with family or friends, have a very detailed, written agreement to protect each other.
