Many of you know Jordan Moorhead, who is an active BP member. Jordan was in a bad accident a week ago and is in the hospital. October 26th, another driver turned right across his path on a city street, leaving him nowhere to go other than to strike the other driver’s vehicle. Since Jordan was on a motorcycle, he sustained significant injuries to his brain and body. 

Jordan was brought to a level 1 trauma center at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin after the accident. The exceptional medical team there discovered breaks in his left ulna, radius and humerus, right ulna and radius, right femur, two places in his jaw, and in the vertebra at the base of his skull. He also had separation in his pelvis at three locations and other less severe injuries. Jordan is still in Dell Seton Medical Center, and probably will be for some time before transfer to an inpatient rehab center for a long stay.

Thanks @Todd Dexheimer! Just an update I'm working on recovering, still can't walk but no major brain damage. I hope to be back to walking, working and back in Minnesota by mid January. So grateful to be alive after hearing about the shape I was in after the wreck, I don't remember any of the first week. I'm out of the hospital now and fighting to get the insurance of the person who hit me to cover the bill in full, the police report said she just turned into the left lane right in front of me so I have a good chance.
