If a tenant intentionally damages the property is the damage covered by the insurance company ? Cannot get a straight answer from the insurance company.

Intentional destruction of property is considered a civil matter. It will not be covered by insurance. You'll need to file charges against the Tenant and pursue compensation through the courts.
